Accelerated resolution therapy

Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity.”

– Mae Jemison

“I keep replaying the same memories over and over. I want to move forward, but it’s like something inside me won’t let go.”

“No matter how much I sleep, my body still feels tense, tired, and disconnected…like I’m stuck in survival mode.”

“I try to focus, but my mind is always racing—and even simple tasks feel exhausting.”

“I’ve thought about starting therapy, but the idea of revisiting every painful memory feels too heavy. I want something deeper that helps me move forward without having to relive it all.”

What if just ONE session could make all the difference?

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can help. It may feel impossible now, but you can feel safe in your body again. You can let go of the emotional weight of what happened. You can reconnect with peace, clarity, and who you truly are…and I can help you get there.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy helps you:

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Grief and loss

  • Low self-esteem or negative self-talk

  • Depression or mood changes

  • Fears and phobias

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Chronic pain with emotional roots

  • Trouble sleeping or frequent nightmares

  • Emotional wounds from past relationships

How It works

Accelerated Resolution Therapy can help you rewrite your story.

Sometimes the brain holds onto painful experiences in ways that feel stuck, like the memory keeps playing on a loop. Even when you know you’re safe now, your body and mind may still react like the threat is happening all over again.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps gently reprocess those memories so they no longer have the same emotional grip. You’ll still remember what happened, but the feelings around it, fear, shame, panic, can be softened or even completely relieved.

With ART, you don’t have to talk through every detail of your trauma. You stay in control, while I guide you through a series of calming eye movements and visualization techniques to help your brain “file” the memory differently. Most clients feel relief in just 1–5 sessions.

Together, we’ll identify the images, thoughts, or sensations that are keeping you stuck, and replace them with ones that feel calm, safe, and empowering. You’ll leave each session feeling lighter—and more in control of your emotions, your body, and your story.

This is deep healing that doesn’t require you to relive the pain. It’s gentle. It’s effective. And it works.

“You’ve got the light to fight the shadows.”

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a short-term, evidence-based therapy that uses eye movements and guided imagery to help your brain reprocess distressing memories. Unlike traditional talk therapy, you don’t have to re-tell every painful detail in order to feel relief.

  • Many people experience significant relief in just 1–5 sessions, though everyone’s process is different. We’ll go at your pace and build in support along the way.

  • No. One of the unique things about ART is that you don’t have to describe your trauma out loud. You’re in control of how much you share, and healing still happens.

  • Yes. Whether the memory is recent or decades old, ART can help reduce the emotional charge and rewire how your brain holds the experience.

  • A: ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) both use eye movements to help the brain process difficult experiences. However, ART is often described as more structured, gentle, and easier to tolerate, especially for those who feel overwhelmed by traditional trauma work. Research suggests ART may lead to faster, deeper, and longer-lasting results than EMDR for many people.

If EMDR wasn’t the right fit for you, ART might be a more supportive option.

  • Yes. ART is a relatively newer approach, but it’s classified as evidence-based. Studies show that it may be even more effective than EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or prolonged exposure therapy, especially because of its focused and precise nature. Many clients report feeling relief within just a few sessions, and research shows that improvements often continue even after therapy ends.

  • ART sessions are typically done as a stand-alone process, with a specific structure that allows for focused healing. That said, depending on your needs and goals, we can incorporate ART into your broader therapy work. Some clients choose to alternate ART with talk therapy, while others prefer to focus solely on ART for a short period. We’ll decide together what’s best for your healing journey.
